Erika Mattson, PA-C

Erika Mattson is an energetic and compassionate physician assistant with a Master of Medical Science degree from Yale University. Originally from the Tetons, Erika grew up exploring the mountains with her family, which sparked her lifelong love for the outdoors and ultimately led her to settle in Colorado.

Erika obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University, where she balanced academics as a student-athlete while also working as a group fitness instructor, inspiring others to embrace movement and wellness. Prior to PA school, she gained valuable experience working in a rehabilitation and long-term care center, the emergency department, and an orthopedic sports medicine clinic, further fueling her passion for helping people stay active and healthy.

Specialty

Erika is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and works with a fantastic team specializing in trauma and fracture care, sports medicine, and lower extremity care, including the foot and ankle.

Interests

Outside of work, Erika enjoys ice hockey, running, skiing, traveling, and cooking. She also loves filling her home with plants and spending quality time with her fiancé and cat, who help her stay grounded and add balance to her busy life.
