Marc Monroe, CSCS is a personal trainer who specializes in helping clients return to, or exceed pre-injury fitness levels – to bridge the gap between conventional rehabilitation, and the more advanced fitness goals that our clients deserve.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Marc has over 15 years experience training, both in a sports medicine / rehab setting and as an independent trainer. In that time, he has worked with a diverse clientele with a wide variety of physical abilities and impairments and has gained extensive knowledge of orthopedic injuries and their treatments. Marc has experience with weight training, bodyweight training, bootcamp calisthenic workouts, TRX, HIIT, ski conditioning, and coaching running. Lastly, he is an artist with KinesioTex tape.
His approach to training is founded in the ideas that workouts should be functional, varied, and challenging; that they should be educational, teaching the client to use his or her body correctly in both sport and everyday activities; that they should build confidence as well as strength; and that making a workout fun is as important as all else.
- Marc Monroe is a 2000 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University where he earned a BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise testing, analysis, and prescription
- A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association
