Bridget Myers, PT, DPT, of BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine Selected for Global Leadership Initiative
BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine’s Bridget Myers, PT, DPT, was recently chosen for the Homeward Bound international program #TeamHB7. In this program, women are selected from diverse backgrounds in STEMM — science, technology, engineering, mathematics or medicine — to support each other in pursuit of global sustainability.
As an expert in physical therapy, Myers brings her vast knowledge and expertise in postoperative, orthopedic and sports-related care to this leadership initiative. Selected from thousands of applicants, she represents a part of the diversity, bravery and commitment to collaboration that Homeward Bound champions. Its mission is to proactively foster young women’s development and move the planet toward a more sustainable future.
“We are proud to see Bridget join the Homeward Bound initiative to serve future generations of women and expand women’s roles in STEMM,” says BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine Practice President Dr. Lorri Fulkerson. “It’s a great privilege to see one of our experts invest in innovative initiatives to help better our planet.”
Myers earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University–Rueckert Hartman College for Health Professions in 2007. She is experienced in orthopedics and treats a wide range of conditions and a diverse patient population, including postoperative and sports-related injuries. In her practice, she specializes in impairments and conditions of the upper and lower extremity.
